So my argument that the word " democracy " doesn't appear in the Constitution nor Declaration of Independence is dishonest yet you still can't prove that wrong.

The point is that the fact the specific word you chose not appearing is irrelevant to what our system is. I already pointed out other words that showed the democracy of the Constitution, but you rejected them because they don't fit your irrationally-small criteria.

I even pointed out how dishonest/bad this argument was with another aspect of our system, and you refused to respond.

In fact, that refusal to respond until your irrationally-framed question is answered shows you doubling down on the dishonesty.

I guess you are too stupid to realize the only time Constitutional Republic comes up is when a liberal mouth breather like yourself brings it up to bitch about the electoral system. So how about you shut the frick up and quit being a disingenuous piece of shite!

Using facts is dishonest to liberals. It's really making you upset that I'm using facts that you can't prove wrong.

Nobody disputes that the word doesn't appear in the Constitution.

You're closing your brain to understand why that doesn't matter.

You can prove facts.

I'm showing why those facts are irrelevant.

Then you hide behind the irrelevant facts.

Do you want to drop this dishonesty and participate and answer my questions now? I've already answered your questions.

Irony much?

We are a constitutional republic with democratic principles, not a democracy.

We have had this discussion before.

A constitutional republic protects the rights of the minority, a democracy does not (they may in practice, but that aspect is not necessary by design).

China is a democracy.

We are not.

Period.

We are all 3 things

And we use a federal system. You left that out

A constitutional republic protects the rights of the minority, a democracy does not

All aspects of our system check the others

These terms are not exclusive. That's your logical error

China is a democracy.

China is a a Constitutional Republic (on paper, just like the democratic aspects)

So what about that fact that "federal" doesn't appear in the Constitution.

Is our political system federal or not? Do we have a national gov and 50 state government?

How can we if the Constitution doesn't include the word "federal"?

SFP just stop. Everyone knows your game on here. You try to twist every thread and when called out you just double down. Facts make you throw a temper tantrum.

What does that have to do with the fact that they have a constitution and their people have representatives in government?

Or are you trying to change definitions now b/c your example was bad?

Not a deflection.

China is a Constitutional Republic.

Here is a copy of its constitution

Here is its republican political structure:

You're not arguing what I am, that systems don't have to be binary and you can be both a democracy (as you claimed China to be) and a constitutional republic (as I've proven).

China?

Surely you jest.

The fact that you believe that anyone in China has representation is laughable.

Democrats are purposely steering talk from a Republic to a Democracy.

He realizes what the pushback is all about, but he's so fricking invested in his position he has no clue how to back off.

Its fair to say our system is Democratic, but its best described as a Constitutional Republic, which separates it from what the Democrats really want.

It’s just the democrats sure seem to be forcing the direct democracy “mob rule” once they get elected. Many elected officials choose to wipe their arse with the constitutional republic part for the gains of themselves and the power of their party. Benefit of the people be damned

Direct Democracy? So when are the Dems going to allow the people to vote on closing the border and unrestricted energy production?

Never?

They only believe in Democracy as long as it is a choice between things they want.
