Steve Cortez destroys Rick Wilson on MSNBC

quote:
After Wilson denounced the president as the "First Thug," Cortes smiled and said "I'd encourage you to go to a Trump rally because you'd feel nothing but patriotism." Wilson shot back "If I want to do that, I'll just watch Nuremberg videos."
quote:
RICK WILSON: Donald Trump does not inspire fear for no reason. He does it deliberately. It is a deliberate strategy. It is used frequently by authoritarian leaders in this world. The members of the Senate and the members of the House know the fundamental rule. Don't be the first guy to stop clapping when Saddam is speaking. Don't be the first guy to put your head up, or it's going to get cut off, and that has happened to an awful lot of Republicans. ....
quote:
STEVE CORTES: So Rick continues with these insanely insulting terms. And by the way, I will tell you this. I wear your scorn as a badge of honor. I really do. And this kind of condescension from unlikable elites is one of the reasons we won in 2016 and a reason we're going to win again. But for you to compare hundreds of thousands of Americans who have been to these Trump rallies, these wonderful Trump rallies, for you to compare them to Nazis, for you to call us crazies, the last time I was on TV with you, you called Trump voters toothless rubes.
For you to use all of these terms of derision and all this condescension, it only reinforces the need unfortunately that we have, the need in this country to have the electoral revolt of the America First movement. Yes, we needed somebody to lead that movement who is a fighter. And yes at times he is indelicate and brash, okay? He at times can be offensive,
...But he has also produced results for this country like we have ever seen before in only three short years, particularly for the people who needed it most, working class people, minorities, people with less education, and all the while kept America out of disastrous foreign intervention. That is the America first agenda.

It is and it isn’t.
I often see these exchanges where the left attacks Trump and his voters very personally with insult after insult. The other side , defends but also acknowledges some of the insults as accurate and okay.
Indelicate ? Brash ?
In reality , a few nicknames and the occasional “bullshite”, “sonnovabitch”; just isn’t enough to throw the left a bone on their criticism.
These people compare the president to Hitler and his voters to NaZis, so pardon me if I’m not conciliatory in any way.
ETA- I really wish I’d see less defending and more calling out the left on THEIR craziness and THEIR dangerous ideas and the similarities they display to Nazi Germany.

There are few people that rise to the level of retard as Rick Wilson.
Him and Boot Lick Kristol think they will go back to being influential conservatives after the age of Trump.
In reality they have destroyed themselves for ALL intents and purposes and we (Conservatives) dgaf what they think.

It’s just showing the left to be pedantic and petty. It’s not conciliatory.

I've observed the most TDS riddled fools are folks who claim to be conservative R's.....Joe Cuckborough, Rick Wilson, Bill Kristol, Nicole Wallace, Comey, Mueller, etc.....these types are a vital part of the Swamp NWO Resistance.

You don't have to be an elite to support the elitism mindset.

What are these clowns going to do if it’s Trump vs Bernie? Will these “conservatives” actually vote for a true socialist over Trump? This wouldn’t be like 2016 where at least Hillary could be framed as a traditional establishment Democrat and they could hide behind that.

Add Stephen Hayes to that list also. He said on Bret's panel Friday - "sure, Trump did wrong in the phone call but the Dems have done a bad job of making their point of it."
And I use to like the guy but he has been all negaTrump since the election. George Will is another one who I quit reading and listening to also.
