Housing prices have been increasing at a far faster rate than income. Same with everything else I mentioned. “Working hard” isn’t enough anymore
My kids have an education...with no student loans to repay. They have houses and insurance. I've made sure to impress upon them the values of saving for retirement early...they will be better off in that regard than I am now.
Oddly enough, none of their jobs will be a problem with AI.
They worked hard...as did I... and still do to have those things...as do I.
My son just knocked out 2 years of 6/10's...not much life during that time but makes for a nice bank account.
This "it can't be done anymore" attitude is what leads many to fail.

Have you checked the numbers for Biden's term?
quote:
During the Biden administration, H-1B visa approvals reached high levels, with approximately 400,000 to over 470,000 total petitions approved annually
Trump's first term had fewer...about 500,000 fewer. Obama's second term had more than Trump.
And this:
quote:
New $100,000 Entry Fee: In September 2025, a proclamation was issued requiring employers to pay a $100,000 entry fee for new H-1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025. This fee, described as a "tariff on the importation of labor," aims to prioritize hiring American graduates by making foreign labor more expensive.
quote:
Falling Application Rates: Attorneys have already reported a "chilling effect," with some seeing a 50% drop in clients applying for the H-1B program in early 2026 due to the new costs.

Do you think dumping 20 million illegals in the country might impact housing just a wee bit?????

I genuinely don’t care what label you give me.

People have rightly been upset with the long, drawn out free beer tomorrow nature of actions and prosecutions.
I do think we are starting to see some movement on the consequences end of things. It's still low level -- like the Minnesota fraud arrests and that Florida state rep Cheherilus--McCormick-MacDougal (or whatever the frick her name is) for stealing FEMA funds for campaign use.
Considering the Biden--Kamala team encouraged this shite for 4 years and did nothing, it's going to be a haul to get it turned around.

He makes Nosferatu look like a good guy. He looks just like Nosferatu and I hate insulting Nosferatu like that.
