noticed you left this line out

To qualify, you must provide proof of lawful status (e.g., visa, I-94), in addition to other standard REAL ID requirements.
How convenient for you
They arent going to get through the other checks. Because terrorists could use the exact same process
So we both agree. Real ID doesn't prove citizenship. Glad you've seen the light....

Youre so confused that you dont even know which side you are arguing for
Kiwi said it unreasonable to expect people to carry their proof of citizenship daily
1) A poster claimed US citizens carried their papers with them on a daily basis
2) Kiwi said that wasnt true
3) To which I said good luck not having your ID when stopped by the police on the road
4) To which you replied a DL wasnt proof of citizenship
5) To which I replied you had to have a birth certificate to get a REAL ID (even using a passport)
6) You replied that non-citizens also could get REAL ID
7) I then posted the OK policy showing that even in OK you have to prove you were here legally to get REAL ID
8) Then somehow you claimed victory
While ignoring that you already posted that a DL (carried daily) is ACTUALLY proof that someone carries papers on them showing they are in this country legally. Citizen or not

Just a reminder that SFP ran from this thread like others when I challenged ridiculous SFP nonsense

They are seriously suggesting that ICE hears about an illegal, gets a rough artist sketch and then just finds the first latino person at the local soccer game who looks remotely like the scribbling, rushes them to the first plane out of the country and mockingly wipes their hands saying "got another one!"
that's quite the tale you've completely fabricated there. link?

Why lie to make a point?
OK Real ID requires either a birth certificate or a US passport. Your passport requires a birth certificate or Certificate of Naturalization or
Certificate of Citizenship. Both demonstrating that you are indeed a US citizen
So, yes Real ID in Okla confirms citizenship. And you carry it with you daily. Just in case you are pulled over by the police
This is what you said robbbobb...it was incorrect just as I stated and later proved...via the Oklahoma site. A real ID doesn't prove citizenship.... You now seem to be working extra hard to conflate legal residents with citizens. Citizenship and legally being here are two different things...
Most citizens do not carry papers with them daily that prove citizenship, they may carry a real ID which identify them based on previously showing legal residency or citizenship papers but isn't valid proof of citizenship....
