.any motherfricker on or in propert I legally own and thinks they a squatting there is sadly mistaken. I'm kicking in the door with weapons drawn and throwing their sorry asses in the street by their throats and burning every little thing they own in front if their eyes. They would really need to squat somewhere after that.

I read the article. I don't understand how squatters rights work. Does turning on the electricity and paying it for 30 days prior make it legal?

What in the hell makes someone think that they can move into someone else's house and refuse to leave?

This happened in Georgia two years ago. The family went to spend a few months in Europe and left their large home unoccupied.

Some guy who was familiar with really old 'squatter law' saw an opportunity and moved in. When they sent cops to remove him he took them to court. Not sure how it ended. Probably gave him some money as a settlement.

This is kind of like the entire immigration issue in microcosm.

This has happened in Memphis a couple of times. They all claim to be Sovereign citizens who aren't bound by the law.

In the Loki Boy incident in Florida, the man giving him instructions was part of the sovereign citizens movement. He actually said he had blessings from the Pope that anything he stated was binding on the earth.

I bet they wouldn't like living in a home with a couple of watch dogs...

something like this happened to a friend of mines hunting camp. since they were never around except during deer season, it was susceptible.

I think he told them something to the effect "theres nothing stopping me from shooting you and saying you broke in, I'd leave if I were you" and they did

They did this with the Loki Boy character in Florida, but a local judge says he wasn't properly evicted. So even though the house has been sold, there are still legal matters pending that the bank has to clear up!

That is when I would move intot he Judges home and invite all the homeless people that I could find to join me.
