Spending bill will pay hospitals to care for uninsured/illegals that are infected

People need help because this was unforeseen but this is a slippery slope. I know hospitals already take care of these people often but getting the tax payer to foot the bill will be a policy hard to change. Abuse on both side will continue to grow. Horrible situation...

Kentucky has stopped doing the checks for Medicaid, income, Medicare receipt, and citizenship. Everyone who applies is able to get 3 months of Medicaid coverage essentially no questions asked.

Once they show up in the ER, we have to treat. Uninsured can be a material chunk of your ER volume depending on the geography. We need to be reimbursed somehow...
