This is what gets me about people wanting to criticize Europe and Britain when we're doing exactly the same thing here.
When the government is willing to use its guns against its own citizens and jail those who would use their own guns to defend their own borders, its not so simple of a choice for each citizen to make. The illegal invaders come in under the willing protection of the government because of the threat of prosecution the government poses to its citizens for doing what would otherwise be the government’s responsibility.

You understand this was one of the reasons The Founders established the 2nd amendment? Yet, people here do nothing but whine and complain on message boards which isn't anything different than the Euros are doing and they have no guns.

If the title said with rubber bullets I would not have opened because I would not have cared. It is exactly why I said it was misleading. There is a big difference between firing into a crowd with rubber bullets and lead bullets.

A difference, yes, but it's violent suppression. And those rubber bullets still had to be fired into the crowd. Rubber bullets can still be lethal and I'm sure they hurt like hell and cause other injuries.
So maybe instead of dying on that particular hill, what's your opinion of violent suppression of citizens who oppose illegal immigration?
