The Boomers allowed the USA to decompose into this Proto-Progressive Democratic Socialist mess that we now have. The Boomers are the ones to spit on the Vietnam Vets returning home. The Boomers allowed Hollywood to portray all combat Vets as psychotic serial rapists and murderers (until 9/11 happened and then suddenly the Nation needed combat vets, so we got our props back thanks for nothing).
The Boomers are a Failure Generation and there's no getting around it. Now, you're right, it probably is nonsense to blame a whole huge Generation for it all because some individuals did act well, so, we should not take the condemnation utterly serious. The Boomers are born between 1946 and 1965? Right? So it is nonsense to blame such a huge portion of the population. But, when it gets down to it, The Boomers are NOT heroes, except for the REAL heroes who fought for the USA in Vietnam. THOSE guys are Heroes. Most of the rest of the Boomers are not.
