Horrendous idea

If you have to quit your job to watch your kid three days a week, is it a horrendous idea?

So, is there a 20% drop in the teacher's pay since they won't be working on Fridays?

Lol.

The thing is, if working parents have to get daycare three days a week, doesn’t that increase their kids’ exposure to other groups of people?

If I was marketing for a private school, this would be an easy sale. You can pay daycare $8000 or you can pay a private elementary school $8000.

What is the positive case rate, hospitalizations, and death rate in Missouri?

Our county...not in Missouri, has 170k pop. 800 total cases and 12 total deaths since March. (800 is 0.4%)

They've lost their shite and are mandating masks for 60 days and discussing school alternatives tonight.

This is what I do.family style atmosphere.

For the record I believe there should be a tiered approach.

Elementary - middle school back in person.

High school hybrid. With a choice for completely online.

This would follow the science as close as we know it and would not sink the economy.

Economy is fine just like the corrupt politicians, wall street, the banks and corporate welfare socialists want it. Stocks are at all time highs and the wealth gap is going to triple in the next 12 months.

Missouri has had zero Covid-related deaths under the age of 19. I’m not sure how many fewer deaths we need to feel safe reopening.
