We don’t know what it is but 86k is a big number. It’s 2% of all AZ registered voters, to which Republicans own 36% of statewide.
People are going to ask questions. But AZ could fix all of this tomorrow by fixing their awful election laws- but sadly they won’t.

Holy shite!!! Dems are stupid!! That they would be so damn obvious knowing Trump will install a new DOJ and that possible election fraud is something this administration will be concerned about.

Lake has proven she has too much baggage for Arizona voters to want to vote for her. I don't know what that baggage is but I don't need to know.

Split ticket. Some people take pride in putting checks on power.

How many non-party affiliated registered people are there?
Plenty. Over 1.5MM. So it’s very possible, just not likely considering the other election dynamics in this cycle.

If below is indeed correct, AZ won't have a choice about changing their election laws....

I thought about that. It’s the most likely explanation, but it’s stupid considering your other senator is D. You want Trump in the WH, but you want a Congress that will block his agenda?

Hispanic vote.

What was so special about Gallego?
You guys don't want to hear it, but he's running against Lake. That, and he got a larger share of the hispanic vote than Harris, particularly in his former House district.

I get that. And I can accept that. There are probably more than enough unaffiliated Hispanics that will always vote for the Hispanic candidate. But even then, Jeff Flake beat a Puerto Rican there not too long ago.
I’d just like someone to tell me what’s so awful about Lake. It’s become unquestioned groupthink here, but no one seems to know why.

I don't see how its not obvious. She tries to talk and act like Trump, but has never accomplished anything besides being on TV so she just comes off as an obnoxious charlatan. The fact that she was a Democrat until very recently likely also plays a role there too.
She's underperformed other republicans statewide both times she ran in Arizona. There really is no disputing that she is not as popular as people here want her to be. I'm not willing to buy that some power that be is only rigging elections against Kari Lake, and not against anyone else.

So those claiming that it's cheating, you think they went in and changed votes for Lake but not Trump? What retarded world do some of you live in? There's about 100k fewer people that voted for the senate compared to president. Gallego only picked up 86k more results than Harris. That looks like a lot of Trump voters not interested in the senate vote or Lake.
There are NO DJT supporters that would cast a vote for anyone besides a GOP candidate straight down the board in this election.
There is nothing I trust about the Arizona election process in 2020 or 2024 in any capacity other than DJT winning AZ in 24.

The knock on Lake was she’s a Trump acolyte, right? That’s a tougher argument to make in light of Trumps big win there.
Exactly.

No, she's not like that at all.
