Hmmmm. One of the things I did after I was married was teach my wife how to shoot. I also taught both my daughters how to shoot also. So their research has a quite a few wholes in it.

Two interpretations here: 1) as men’s incomes fall and women’s stay the same men buy more guns, 2) as men’s incomes stay the same and women’s incomes increase men buy more guns. Either guns are an inferior good (economics) or the price of guns was falling relative to incomes. I’m sure the sociologists explained this

Guys that own guns pull hotter women than guys that don't. The top of the breeding pool of women want a protector and provider. That drives progressives nuts, but will never change.
You're stuck with "toxic" masculinity because that's how we evolved. Deal with it.
