The token answer has been that Trump wanted to dismiss the sanctions, as evidenced by Flynn's phone call with Kislyak.

However, what they don't tell you is Flynn was talking specifically about the sanctions Obama placed on Russia at the last minute because of election meddling (the only evidence of which they had being the Steele dossier).

So, once again, it's circular logic. Just like we had the Steele dossier used in a FISA warrant and a Yahoo news article (planted by Steele) used to corroborate the dossier. Steele being used to corroborate Steele.

It's the same with the sanctions. Obama slaps some (very insignificant) sanctions on Russia literally on his way out the door because of what he read in the Steele dossier. Flynn tells the Russians "no biggie, it's all BS." The left goes crazy about Flynn wanting to undo sanctions that were brought on by bullshite information in the first place.

Russia is much more likely to pull a fast one over on DJT than he is HRC. For all his lack of real business acumen the only thing he might know even less about is foreign policy.

Also study how pathetically corrupt, weak, appeasing and cowardly both Obama and Clinton were/are, especially in National Security and Foreign Policy.

The filthy Dems, who are for a weak ineffective military and a surrenderist, retreating foreign policy, are the ones who always capitulated to the Russians. Putin would MUCH MUCH MUCH rather have had stupid selfish criminal liar Clinton in office than a REAL leader, which is the current Commander in Chief who actually leads from the front, and has and is in short order re-establishing the United States of America as THE exceptional Superpower of the Western World.
