I just found this:

quote:

Like many vaccines, a flu shot does contain the virus that it is preventing. That's where formaldehyde comes in, to deactivate the virus and prevent the toxins from causing illness. In large doses, formaldehyde is toxic and deadly.

No wonder my ma in law gets a cold every year after she gets her shot. The dead man's blood they put in it, that's coming soon enough for me. I don't need a taste of that shite either.

Not true! If you have your doctor sign off saying you can’t get it, then they cannot terminate you. My wife has our doctor write a note explaining she cannot get the shot and they except it at her hospital. FYI my wife works in Radiology

Never! Don't do it, ever! Not worth the risk.

Well I know that to be a fact so do as you wish. Ever since I stopped getting the flu shot I haven’t gotten the flu.... so please doc go ahead and explain that...... stopped getting the flu shot in 2008. Yes During that time I have gotten sick after having the shot. Now what’s the odds that I get the shot and get the flu... compare to not getting the shot and NOT getting the flu..... I’ll stick with not getting that bullshite.

A whole thread of anecdotes
not exactly. it has been explained.

the flu shot does not "prevent" anyone from contracting the flu. it helps minimize the symptoms IF you get one of the strains that happened to be in the flu shot because your immune system would have been recently exposed to that strain.

ostensibly, if your symptoms are lessened, there is less chance you might pass it on to someone else. hence, the insistence on the shot but that reasoning is a bit spurious.

My paternal grandfather died in the bird flu epidemic of 1915. Get mine early every year.

due to complications
from what i understand, this is correct. the flu does not kill people. but it can lead to other conditions that are fatal. hence, why most people who die are children or geriatric. healthy adults can fight off the infection before it turns to something else

If you're very old or very young or you are immunocompromised, then you should probably get it. I am not and have not and have never had the flu. I see 100s of patients with flu every year. It is the one vaccine (along with Gardasil) that isn't effective, or the benefits don't outweigh the risks.

Keep this up and they will ask for your white coat back.

You flu anti vaxxers are the reason we’re seeing new flu cases for the first time in 50 years!
that's stupid. people are getting bacterial infections that can't be treated despite taking every known antibiotic.

these things mutate. they are pernicious

I think it’s just depending on the person and the time they get it. I mean if you don’t have a strong immune system and that being strong enough to fight off infection or bacteria then it doesn’t matter if you get the flu shot or not! Plus you have to remember everyone’s body is different and reacts in different ways. If you’re healthy most of the time, stay fit ( gym) and eat right then you have a better chance of fight things off then a person that doesn’t.

Me. I got one when my 8 year old was a baby. None since.

The only flu that kicked my arse was last year, and the flu shot didn't work for a lot of people anyway.

why does this continue to be repeated when the toxins in the vaccine have been discussed?

i am not against the flu shot. also, i do acknowledge that the toxins in the shots are probably so low a dosage that they're not terribly harmful if the flu shot is not taken regularly, like phosphoric acid in coke.

having said that, it's a question of mitigation. the flu shot isn't going to prevent you from getting the flu. so, you're rolling the dice that you are careful enough to not get it. i'm ok with my child getting the shot - for now. i will probably start to discourage it in the teens due to the toxins. i will probably start to get it myself once i'm in my senior years. until then, negatory.

Very correct. Even the CDC said the success rate of last year's serum was only 30% effective. That's not nothing to write home about.

Never had a flu shot. Had the flu last December for the first time ever.
Probably still won’t get the shot.

Once in 50 years ain’t bad.

Well the multi use flu vaccines at least have thimerosal in them. Usually these toxins are called preservatives. If you are pregnant you should be very careful to vaccinate since you could be giving your baby a nice dose of toxin. Further compare heavy metal poisoning to autism. Lot of similarities. Or how Alzheimer's brains have very high amounts of aluminum in them and the best way to cross the blood brain barrier is via blood, like a vaccine.

Hey Jenny, can you post some nudes from your Baywatch/Singled Out days?
