Stop apologizing for a man that doesn’t respect the ideals of freedom and individual rights. Annexing land from others pre-WW2 is not comparable with conquering a sovereign neighbor in today’s world. Sure, we have the sins of the Iraq War, but even that isn’t the same as what Putin is doing and aspires to do.

Also noted, Sequoyah fought for the US at the battle of Horseshoe Bend to remove the Creeks from that part of Alabama.
By your logic, he had no right to object to Cherokee removal.
