Weapons are carried for self defense or to attack another person - any criminal action depends on a subsequent action.

I would not be comfortable going anywhere that an Antifa mob might be reasonably expected to gather. I would consider that it was more than likely that there would be Antifa progstains at the protest. SO - if I wanted to 'peacefully protest' I would not even think of doing it without some personal defense from an Antifa progstain (remember Rittenhouse?)

NOW - I am a peaceful, law-abiding, patriotic citizen of the USA - endowed with protection of all the rights guaranteed by the US constitution. So, If I wanted to express my grievance at the Congress of the USA as guaranteed by the 1st amendment, would I have to be deprived of my rights guaranteed by the 2nd amendment?

OR would I be compelled - by the same government that I consider to be illegitimately installed - to submit myself to the 'pleasures of the mob' who have demonstrated THEIR methods of 'crowd control.'

NO - the clarity of the 2nd amendment gives me the right to protect myself from any known risk that I may logically anticipate.

NOW - had the progstains in control of the DC 'law and order' responsibility provided some sort of obvious protection from the likes of Antifa progstains, I MAY have been content to trust my safety to that authority. However, not only did the NOT make ANY effort to ensure a safe environment, but actually worked to MINIMIZE that protection, any normal citizen would be a fool to subject his safety to the will of the mob.

Of course - what the DEM progstains WANT is a population who are cowered by the threat of mob action.

Which is the primary reason that the stolen election was the MOST IMPORTANT EVENT OF POST-CIVIL WAR History. And it needed to be protested by patriotic citizens.

and EVEN IF we were wrong - we STILL have the right to protest our grievances.

Lord knows that DEM PROGSTAINS never resist to violently 'protest' any made up 'outrage' that the media tells them about. Remember the "summer of love?"
