Trump was so insistent he was the reason the economy was improving, so he has to own this and the MSM, for all their faults, are right to make sure he gets the credit he wanted. But the dude is a clown who will have some bullshite reason why it’s not on him.

Right, but Trump insisted on taking credit for the bull run so it's only fair that he gets "blame" for the downturn. That's probably why most Presidents have been reluctant to boast about the stock market. Politically, it's a double edged sword.
