Did the NYT or CNN disclose that before reporting on it?

I've heard that is imperative and ALWAYS happens.

Rush pointed out that was detail was absent before the court.

I guess everything has to be triple verified...Rush's team is usually pretty good though

How much you want to bet the identity was leaked by investigators to CNN and NYT in order to have them press for the release?

What percentage of America has even heard this claim?

I’m guessing less than 80% and almost all of them are loyal Trump supporters.

I still believe Cohen’s lawyers threw Hannity under the bus. If MSM had lawyers there Cohen’s team leaked that the 3rd client was Hannity. Cohen’s team could have wrote his name on paper and let the judge decide if the name was released, but instead they said it out loud.

Balin attended the Monday hearing in Southern District Court in Manhattan, following the raid of Cohen’s offices, to represent the interests of several news organizations, including ABC, The New York Times, CNN, the Associated Press, and Newsday.

he wasn't an attorney of a party in the hearing. He was in the second row of the gallery and interrupted the hearing. He then approached and convinced the judge to make it public. That is so out of the ordinary on so many levels. This entire thing is amazing to watch. If a conservative with no standing had interrupted a court hearing the left would be apoplectic

Wow, are you sure ABC, The New York Times, CNN, the Associated Press, and Newsday weren't parties to the proceeding?

The whole proceeding is out of the ordinary. And, I didn't see where anyone filed to have the list sealed or any of the names be sealed. So why should Hannity be treated any differently than the others?

Then why would the attorney interrupt the hearing from the gallery? Do you know how unusual that is? Most judges wouldn't allow that. Ever.

Sure it was unusual. Balin said he had never done it before.

He only stood up when Cohen's lawyer said that the third legal client's name wouldn't be revealed. Without a motion beforehand, Balin likely didn't expect it.

One of the other members of Balin's firm had made basically the same argument at the previous hearing on Friday. Cohen's lawyers were on notice, and should have filed a motion.

“Why should Hannity be treated differently than any other person” is exactly the right question to ask.

How you consistently get things completely backwards amazes me. With such hubris too.
