you must have a respected alternative.
ideally you have a position on an issue or two that your alternative speaks or writes about which differs from McConnell.

not a lot happens in a Vacuum. McConnell got two more justices than decency would allow. a year of nada for Obama. then amy Barrett AFTER trump lost.
who's better than that in your mind?
what issue is he weak on where your KNOWN ALTERNATIVE is strong?

You don’t. He’s better than you and Trump put together. He’s the reason we kept Merrick Garland out of SCOTUS. Thank goodness he is controlling the Republicans in the Senate.

replace 5 Senators, would be Turtle, Graham, Collins, Murk, Romney.
Need to get rid of Lurch from Louisiana, both Senators from Texas, Foam boy in Florida, too. So there's nine that need to go.

He's dug in like an Alabama tick. If I had to guess, I'd say there needs to be audit of the Turtle's financial records. Trace the money. It ALWAYS tells the story. The thing that has me more concerned is that the Turtle endorses DeSantis. Why is that??

I hope Mike Lee runs against him as a total frick you. He ruffled some feathers with failing to support close races.

If Murk goes - It would be close.

Otherwise you Texas Baws need to get rid of Cornyn. Is he up in ‘24? Dude needs to be primaried forreal. Can y’all make that AG run against him?

Its the money that keeps him in. The Republican party is too scared that they will not be able to get the money from the big money that supports McConnel. All party leadership positions are given to the politicians who bring in the most money. Its not about the policies they push or whether the rest of the party like them.

McConnel I am sure is bringing in the old money and the RNC side of foriegn money because of McConnel. The power brokers pulling the political strings have not been transferred to younger generations so younger leadership is not pushed on the RNC side.

The money is shifting with the power bases.
This cycle, the Rs were publically telling the CoC no thanks. That alone is a big shift.

The electorate and the parties are realigning.
The money will follow.
