Is it so impossible to envision a scenario where a daughter refuses to tell her parents because the man who assaulted her is the district attorney and a man in great power?
Do you remember how Jaunita Broaddrick mentioned her situation with Bill Clinton? She revealed how gross Bill Clinton was in 1999. Her account was from 1978. Why did she wait 21 years? Maybe the person committing the assault might actually have power in these situations.

If he's guilty, then he should face criminal charges IF the state allows.
However, accusations are not proof of guilt.
As far as the Hollywood connection, Weinstein, Spacey and Louis CK have all admitted to what they did. Weinstein, tacitly if not overtly. Moore has continued to deny the accusations against him.
