Alan Shatter pretty much single-handedly did this to Ireland. He's Jewish, and a strong Zionist. He gutted Ireland's immigration controls, and opened the floodgates, specifically prioritizing people from the third world, and he did this in what appears to be a screw you to the Irish.
He actually said his immigration program was justified, and there was a debt owed, because Ireland failed to act against the Nazi's in WW2.
Ireland has a population of around 5 million people, and net migration last year was 77k, which is a lot for a country that small. If this keeps up for another ten years, it wrecks Ireland, most likely forever.
