This is a big deal: "A $349 billion federal relief program for U.S. small businesses is expected to run out of money this afternoon, with many still waiting to get a lifeline, according to officials familiar with the situation."

Ummmm, why on earth aren’t the senate and house fixing this right now

I might be wrong, but I believe Speaker Pelosi put the House in recess for the rest of the month.

You'd have to ask "that Bitch" Pelosi and Schumer that question....Turtle tried to fix it with some stop gap money last week and they shot it down.

You are very much not wrong. Said they wouldn't return until at least May the 4th.

Bc Nancy said they need to meet in a room and get in the same page...just to up the limit amount of an approved bill.

They are too important to Zoom, like they’ve directed the rest of America

They are willing to make a deal.

"Give us mail in voting in all 50 states, no ID required to vote PLUS $350 billion for minorities and community organizers and we'll give you your small business money. Deal?"

I know when the program first started we received stats that a billion dollars an hour was being loaned out in first couple of days. It slowed down some but I'm not surprised it's already dried up.

Crashed an entire economy over a bunch of nothing. Hope folks are pleased with themselves.

Makes it harder to 'cry wolf' next time!!!

They need to beg harder, its a USSR centralized handout financial system now. (total government control or at least the parts that matter)

Sucks so much since I’m a independent 1099 I couldn’t even apply until this last Friday. Mine hasn’t even been totally processed yet. So I guess I’m shite out of luck till Nancy Pelosi decides to grace me with money I already paid in 10 times over.

So. The govt doesn't know how to estimate business needs.

This is news only to liberals.

There is literally only one party to blame for this.

Yeah who would have thought every business eligible would apply for free money up to $10M

Meanwhile this basically robbed the EIDL program.

Perhaps the should have concentrated on making these relief programs work before pork projects

I just got mine in 30 minutes ago. It was deposited just after turning in signed SBA loan doc. Hallelujah I can make about 5 payrolls with it. Only minor speed bumps and about a 10 day process. No complaints here.
