Single payer? Well, maybe some people individually will think it's "a nightmare". But all they will hear from mass media, from Government, from academia, from pop culture -- all they will hear from these usual suspects is that Single Payer is great.

I am assuming they "had" money.

No way it would have been possible otherwise.

You hear these stories a lot. Europeans coming to the US to receive more immediate access to healthcare is nothing new, but I guarantee you, few have a means of doing that.

Bama is the queen of strawman arguments and definitions
you just have to accept that when trying to discuss anything with her

Oh, good. Now that we're on the same page, you ready to move on from your false statements?

I think it is wholly a state issue,
But, I think I could bring everyone to the table on building 4 completely free superhospitals, fully staffed.
They would be in upstate NY, Chattanooga, Tyler TX, and LV...
I would cut all other funding and peel Medicare back.
Done, free healthcare for all, and cheaper for the govt.

I think it will never happen because for it to happen people currently paying little to no money in taxes would have to cough up 20-40% of their income.
Good luck getting that to happen.
Not to mention it would be a disaster for quality of care and innovation.

Phew. Glad you've heard at least one term we're using today.
I assumed we were discussing something that would make a cost difference, such as our excessive system expense, rather than the irrelevant 3rd party payor method chosen to corral its horses once they've left the barn.
As we've established, single payer would leave us entrenched in an extraordinarily expensive system. It is profit vs not-for-profits in that system and the environment driving expenses that are cost determinative, regardless of payor.

Somehow you're of the opinion that slashing Medicaid by $1T will fix that.
Spoiler: you're wrong, as always

So I wonder if rich people will accept it or will it be like the UK, where the people with real money get the real care and the peasants get their kids killed.
fricking elites wouldn't go anywhere near that shite.
