Nashville follows in trace of whatever mainstream pop culture is doing to make money, whether it is music or the social justice flavor of the week. Just because generally speaking conservatives listen to more country music than lefties do doesnt mean anything. Nashville's entire modus operandai is to make a country-ish version of whatever pop culture is selling and sell that to a wider audience. i have no doubt in my mind that her producer put her up to this.

I can't imagine why pop country is trash
