Like with covid in test tubes it has worked against many viruses. That’s why it’s not random that it was tried at the start of this. I still have yet to see a well done prospective study on covid and hcq. When it was tried outside of test tubes in other viruses it didn’t work.

This is why is works well as a preventative. The VA study gave it to people on their death bed. What medicine works when people are on the brink of death? Give people HCQ early and it does its job.

bullshite, it has worked over and over again on actual humans, only reason it is a question is Trump said something about it

Like to a randomized blinded study? Anecdotal retrospective studies is the lowest level of evidence. Better than nothing but very difficult to make a definitive scientific statement on. The best you can say is it may be helping and looks to be. Can’t be certain though
Would I want the drug? Sure. Does that mean it’s proven? No.
The drug has been extremely politicized on both sides.
