If you answer no, then you agree those things need to be produced/controlled domestically. In that sense, it very much is a zero sum game genius. Either they do it/have it or we do. There is no 3rd option. Trump has been clear from the beginning you halfwit that the tariffs are designed to solve that problem - repatriate business and manufacturing. There were always going to be bumps in the road trying to solve this problem that 30 years of lazy and corrupt politicians have created. So far, the plan is working. Companies have agreed to increase domestic operations. Heck, even Toyota has committed to increasing domestic (to us) production.
