How bout people just not intentionally drive their car into a crowd?

It isn't difficult to understand that idea. Apparently young James Jr. couldn't comprehend it though.

What happens if the original applicant's permit is revoked ("for safety" or any reason) and then the counter protest applicant is approved?

i mean if you have a permit to have a birthday party in a park and a parade gets cancelled, you don't get to just assume the parade's route

this shite happens all the time outside of political actions. it's not a complicated system

My issue with it is it gives the government more power.

they already have this power

You are wrong about VA, there is enough info to determine James Jr was one of the Unite the Right attendees.

that is a terrible incident but ONE incident. there were thousands of instances of violence this weekend

simple question: had the "counter protest" never been allowed to confront the racists, would violence have occurred?

the multiple months of leftist "counter protests" that immediately turn violent?

Like I said, violence turns a protest into a riot. Violent speech like that pictured isn't violence, unless throwing a Nazi solute is as well. This slope is getting slippery.

Someone threw a rock at his car and he retaliated by driving into a crowd at 40 mph. But I'm sure that's the lefts fault right guys?

his terrible act doesn't show which group first used violence

like i said yesterday, the VA incident showed that this time the right came prepared for the leftist groups trying to overwhelm them. they weren't going to let them "win" like at Berkeley and other areas where the leftist groups showed up, used violence against an unprepared/peaceful protest, and overwhelmed them. the nazis and racists came prepared for that gameplan and were ready to deal with the violence

again, if the racists were just allowed to be idiots and weren't disrupted, those people are still alive

and if they didn't have one in VA, they're responsible for this, as well as the police for not making them disperse

even if you can devise a system that separates the groups, individuals will always have a right to attend a protest of the opposition

how about thinking completely outside the box and
declare to all that there will be no government protection.

that whatever happens at the protest happens

if you die, you die

I predict that after one or two protests and several dozens dead

no one will attend from either side

problem solved, you can thank me later

wasn't it reported that Berkley cops were ordered to standdown and let it all go down?

Charlottesville locals may have been scared crapless to go against antifa's out of fear of even telling them to leave and arresting them all.

Then the headline news would have been, 'ANTIFA peaceful baws arrested.'

But that would have been better than what happened.

I admit you make some fair pts as always, and I would love to counter but I am literally about to drive across country in a Penske truck. Next time.

Thats because ANTIFA considers what they do as a protest.

Maybe, hopefully their bloodlust would keep them coming back until they're all gone.

I'm gonna move your solution a notch above YA's.
