She's full of shite.
I'll agree that the foster care system is broke. Lots of foster families are just looking for that state check. Other's confuse the children in foster care with their own biases and future adoptive parents have to de-program those biases.
Adoption is expensive? Yeah if you adopt from China or India. But if you adopt from the US Foster Care system you do 2 things...you help a child OUT OF A FAILED SYSTEM and it's NOT EXPENSIVE.
If she's pro-choice she's also pro choice on vaccines, right? My body, my choice?
We adopted in 12/2020. It hasn't been a smooth road but we are making it work and will continue to put the work in to make it work. It's not easy. It's not for everyone but it's NOT EXPENSIVE.

The easy thing here would to not get pregnant.
But people want to put blame everywhere else just so they can kill their baby.

Having adopted 2 baby daughters, it is very expensive. It is also very risky as you prepare you life and home for a new baby, knowing it could be taken from you in the last moment at the birth mom's whim and emotional state.
If there was more supply it wouldn't be as expensive for sure. Although black babies are much less expensive, and that is the sad truth. So the cost of adoption is absolutely a supply and demand issue.
