The failure will be Congress's.
It's like those assholes are responsible for nothing, like children.

If so they just need 51 votes.
They only need 50 votes. So just like healthcare, they can only lose 3 votes. Two have already come out skeptical. First rand paul refuses to vote for anything that raises taxes on anyone. Second corker refuses to vote for anything that isn't deficit neutral.
Couple this with mccain who requires regular order. Collins who doesn't want to cut taxes for the wealthiest, and a host of other negotiatiors in the mix, it is going to be hard to get that 50 votes.
It can be done. It is just a narrow margin.
And the reality is corker, mccain, collins, Lisa M, and a few others realize exactly how much pull they have in this. They are going to negotiate hard.
SHould be a fun month to watch.
Oh, and tepid GOPe support that is given to trump will crumble without tax reform.
They might declare a victory by a small corporate tax cut, or lifting limits on inheritance tax. But it won't be tax reform.

I don't see why we can't just lower corporate taxes and lower taxes for every individual making under $1MM per year and every couple making under $2MM per year.
That is enough leeway to help everybody but the absolutely insanely rich and would be a win / win / win / win.
WTF does Trump have to slash rates for the top 0.5%? He campaigned AGAINST this shite. I'm not saying raise it necessarily, just leave it be.

the GOP is not going to pass any "tax reform" that doesn't cut their wealthy donor's taxes. They are just flat out completely corrupt.
Finally, even doing what you indicate would require them to raise taxes somewhere. They have 1.5T over 10 years to play with. If they go beyond that, they have to raise taxes somewhere else to remain deficit neutral. Senate rules say it has to be deficit neutral.

And there it is. I basically already covered this...trump blaming everyone but himself.
And it appears he has you trained quite well to respond in like manner.
And it’s Congress’
