frick that. How about we make corporations and the thousands of truckers pay more in taxes?

Are you under some sort of delusion that truckers don't pay taxes?

I own an all electric. I do pay a higher ad valor-um because it's electric. I pay 100 dollars for the right to drive an electric car, and then if i want to use it in Atlanta's HOV express lane then i have to pay another 50$ on top of that per year to keep that special license plate.

There are charging stations you could tax, specifically the tesla superchargers. They tell you the energy consumption and charge your account for usage, could easily add on a tax to that. I’ve got a tesla but like most families that have EVs we have a second car that uses gas so I’m paying gas tax already. As an EV owner I’m ok with it but quite honestly I’m tired of continually get taxes on more and more crap, they keep finding new revenue streams but most states have poor infrastructure so this probably won’t change anything.

Those are 2 separate issues. One is fairness, the other is corruption. Are you saying we can't have fairness because of corruption? What a concept!

Ppl in Cali are melting about this happening

They bought Models S to avoid the insane gas tax we have now they will tax per mile

Good

I say tax every single one of them at the highest miles possible to be driven by any driver in the state that year. If thats into the millions of miles so be it

To be sure they arent cheating or anything on their taxes

They wanted to live in Cali after all

I have no doubt they pay plenty. Not to derail the topic, the additional measure I'd like to see on truckers is getting rid of those damn retread tires. I can't imagine how many lobbyists are needed to keep those things legal.
