Thats not a protest. Thats Friday night fools deciding that roads are for whites, so they'll just maximize wandering out in them.

You would be surprised. IFAKs are pretty standard for EDC now. I would expect those with backpacks carry them in these “protests”. I always carried one in Ga and recommended the basic first aid classes to everyone.
A 9mm handgun from a reputable company that holds at least 15 rounds and 2 spare mags
A good sturdy folding knife from a reputable company
An IFAK that you are familiar with and can use
A pocket flashlight with 300 lume minimum
Water bottle
Wallet
Keys
Multi tool
That was my EDC for 15 years.
