That is my point. Why would someone posting on here tell all of us, who aren't related to this situation, that he has these people in their "thoughts and prayers"?

I guess if the person saying it truly believes "thoughts and prayers" are some sort of magical currency with tangible real world outcomes, then the relevant party being aware of their existence is irrelevant lol.

Wut? No I don't. You do. That's the whole point lol. You actually think prayer does something. That's why it doesnt matter to you if the people you are praying for know you are doing it.

Why is that?

You honestly dont know why telling someone who cant hear you that you are praying for them is dumb?

Im not digging on anyone. Thats legitematly the thought process. If you think prayer does something, it doesnt matter if they subject knows its happening. Fact.

Strawman fallacy. No one is claiming that the people involved can "hear" them. Your understanding of the practice seems limited. Just my opinion..others may feel differently...some may claim it's not opinion at all.and thats its fact!

I agree. I do let them do their thing. Their opinions don't matter in the real world. I'm just having fun goofing on them. They take things sooo seriously. It's kinda odd imo.

This isn't a dig on any religion.

I have issues with virtue signaling in any religion or lack of.

Hell, SJWs are pros at virtue signaling.

Because it's dumb.

Scruffy also lacks a neck beard. It doesn't go with his fedora.

I honestly am confused by your tactics lol.

I assume you think that "prayer works". Thats what im saying. You think prayer has an actual outcome.

Scruffy does not. So in his mind saying "prayers and thoughts" can only be one of two things. Either you are saying it to the person you are praying for and its your way of letting them know you care about them. OR you are letting the world know you are a caring person. Since it cant be the first in this situation (i.e. the person isnt here to hear you say it) he assumes it must be the second option.

Im saying there is a third option. You actually think something "happens" when you pray. Like it makes things better somehow. In that case, what does it matter if the person knows you are praying, they still get the benefit of your prayer.

Look man, im literally defending you lol. You must be trolling or stupid.
