A question I have , was autism being diagnosed prior to the development of Tylenol?

This is a complicated question, as if we had the same standards of for diagnosing the disorder as we do now, we could make a ‘like for like’ comparison.

I remember reading Bartleby, the Scrivener by Melville a long time ago and thinking he had likely had autism, just from the way he was written.

But otherwise, yes, the conditions included in the autism spectrum have existed for a lot longer than the widespread availability of Tylenol.

K. You’re still advocating for pregnant women’s to take Tylenol. That’s associated with autism. Do better.

But it’s really not, and even the actual report says it

I keep reading the title as Shocking New Evidence on Tylenol and Ham. At first I was what the hell is up with ham now.

It's really the tylenol/ham synergy that is posing all the risk. *nods*

I had to change the title- nobody was biting on "White House releases Fact Sheet on Tylenol".

Ham is all good, eat and be well... go easy on the tylenol though!

nationwide. “The FDA is taking action to make parents and doctors aware of a considerable body of evidence about potential risks associated with acetaminophen,” said FDA Commissioner Marty Makary, M.D., M.P.H. “Even with this body of evidence, the choice still belongs with parents. The precautionary principle may lead many to avoid using acetaminophen during pregnancy, especially since most low-grade fevers don’t require treatment. It remains reasonable, however, for pregnant women to use acetaminophen in certain scenarios.”

FDA Release

Have you thought a out applying for a job with the FDA? Maybe you could teach them something.

It’s pretty interesting, and completely overlooked this should have been put forward in 2021.

As you can see with all the pushback... addressing even the potential for issues seems to really rile people up.

Great.

Don't pop Tylenol like their candy when your pregnant or it might mean that your kid might have a problem sitting still.

It’s who said it. If anyone in the Biden administration had come forward with it when they should have, I doubt there would have been much notice from conservatives other than “is naproxen or ibuprofen ok?”

Trump says it, people lose their minds.
