But you don't mind the results of the doxxing.

Relax. It’s just an anonymous message board.

I've seen that question raised or suggested elsewhere ––– as if it warranted serious consideration..
So is anything really wrong with the broadcast of information from an obscure, but public, website?
Perhaps we should test the premise.
After all, the Castro's info is all part of the public record too.
Though I redacted specific addresses, and ph#'s e.g., (210) 732-2XXX, they are right there in the "public record" for anyone to see . . . assuming "anyone" knows where to look. Since Julian took up for his twin brother, might as well toss him in the mix too. Julian's home number is (210) 617-7XXX. Hell, their mother's is out there as well, (210) 436-5XXX. I'm sure 72y/o “Rosie” Castro would just love calls coming in at all hours of the night.
So what if someone did blast that information, unredacted, all over the internet?
What if they tweeted out public details regarding Joaquin's wife who generally stays behind, by herself, in San Antonio with their two preschoolers while Castro does his thing in DC? What idf they broadcast pictures of Joaquin's apt in DC, or his little house in San Antonio, and directions as to how to get to each?
I mean, it's all public information, right?
No foul, no harm?
quote:This Castro dude is a simpleton nitwit. It's almost like he wants to expose his young wife and kids to filthy-mouthed haters telephoning at all hours of the night, or worse.
Mr. Castro Goes to Washington
by Joaquin Castro
February 2014
As January 2013 approached, I prepared for my new life shuttling between Texas and Washington, D.C. First of all, I needed a place to live. The cost of housing in Washington is notoriously high. Unable to find a good deal right away, I rented a six-by-eight room in a basement apartment from Solomon Ortiz Jr., a friend and former state representative I’d served with in the Legislature. After a few months I found a 515-square-foot apartment in a five-story building converted from a convent to condominiums eight years earlier. It had one bedroom and one bath and cost almost $100,000 more than my 2,500-square-foot home in San Antonio. At least it was only two blocks from work.

So to address whether dissemination of information which was part of the public record and not subject to any reasonable expectation of anonymity would constitute “doxxing,” of course it does!
And had the little POS doxxed me, you'd better believe I'd return the favor in kind.

We should expel anyone from “CASTRO” lineage from our country on name only!!!
Sorta like a Muslim name like “OBAMA” we should have done same
Electing people with these names is insanity

One day in the USA, you will put you and your family's personal safety at risk if you are doxxed to be a Republican.
That day is not far away.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when a Castro campaign staffer calls one of these donors to ask for a donation next election cycle

A San Antonio man was wrongly outed on Twitter as a donor to President Trump by Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro and said Friday the incident forced him to review emergency plans with his wife and three children.
He should sue Castro into oblivion for defamation and reckless endangerment.
