I was. I had looked at the NY Post and didn't see it. I took a leap based on how long he was looking for it. It was odd the way the sheriff said it, like he stopped and scripted it.

But you are truly an imbecile, so I am going to give you a little primer on Google searches.
I ran one search, and looked at the photos to see the appearance of the suspects. I then went to the “videos“ page of the response. I opened the only one that had the sheriff standing at a podium. All told, that took about 15 seconds.
I hit “play” and then I used… imagine this… the slide bar at the bottom of the video window to speed thru the video until I saw the suspects. This did take another 10-20 seconds or so.

I was totally wrong and it feels like I won. Congrats again. I'm done. I'm more concerned now about DB being in the panhandle. I bet he doesn't even know about the river folk

Escambia is Pensacola, which is smack in the middle of the red neck area of Florida. No fricking way charges would be filed on a castle doctrine shooting.

So that part of the country has more navigable riverways than anywhere else. Specifically South Alabama and the panhandle. A huge network of wide rivers splitting every which way all across it all running to the Gulf. And it's very rural and forested and much of it has never been developed or cleared. Around the towns there are plenty of ramps and people recreating and fishing and so on but you go a bit down river or one creek and you're in pure wilderness, you could camp on a forested river island and no one would ever find you. And you spend enough time you might see the river people. Ask around someone who knows and they might tell you. These people don't have social security numbers. Who knows if they speak English. Might still be wild Injuns. Anyways because of the complex river system a person could get from almost any point in south Alabama or the panhandle to where you live on a canoe.

Escambia is in the panhandle and sheriffs are elected. If someone breaks into your house nobody cares if they leave feet first.

I'm not new to the area. I've been all over the county doing my part to keep the feral hog population in check.
