I wonder if SJL figured out that Apollo 11 didn't land on Mars yet.

Then yesterday, you had Pelosi Galore saying that "she couldn't work with President Bush" while Maxine Waters needed help to remember the name Aleppo and confused Crimea with Korea.

I understand that some GOP leaders aren't impervious to Darwin moments but the Dems sure seem to enjoy showing the way in this category.

After having Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch as Attorneys General, this statement is a damn joke! Those two were THE MOST CORRUPT AND BIGGOTED bastards ever to hold the office!!

++++++++
She doesn't know what the AG job description is

It is exactly what Obama/Holder/Lynch turned it into.

I thought the AG was the top law enforcement officer and lawyer for the government. Maybe that is the disconnect. Did one of Obama's executive orders change the job description?

Sheila Jackson Lee is senile...not an exaggeration, the woman is straight madness, even her own staffers dislike her.

I think they'd be more concerned by the government being completely controlled by corporate interests.

If only Abe Lincoln was not assassinated
The reconstruction would have been a lot different
The ships would've been sailing east instead of west
What could have been
Ole well

Also SJL might be the dumbest person to ever hold office at the national level.

No doubt. She is dumb as rocks. Perfect rep for the liberals.

My only complaint against Sessions is that he loves him some big govt.

Anyone in favor of seizing people's property without charge, criminal trial, and conviction gets a big "no" in my book.

Please. Republicans were too terrified of being called racists to ever try and stop an Obama nominee.

Well, they were embarrassing during the Trump vote certification...even Joe Biden had to shut them down as they couldn't even follow basic House and Senate rules.

Heck, they didn't envision the Electoral College being used in the way it is. They didn't envision the internet, assault weapons, planes, radio, television or satellite technology.

There's a reason Jefferson recommended we review the Constitution every 20 years. He'd probably think we're off our rockers.

quote:

Every constitution, then, and every law, naturally expires at the end of nineteen years. If it be enforced longer, it is an act of force, and not of right. It may be said, that the succeeding generation exercising, in fact, the power of repeal, this leaves them as free as if the constitution or law had been expressly limited to nineteen years only. In the first place, this objection admits the right, in proposing an equivalent. But the power of repeal is not an equivalent. It might be, indeed, if every form of government were so perfectly contrived, that the will of the majority could always be obtained, fairly and without impediment. But this is true of no form. The people cannot assemble themselves; their representation is unequal and vicious. Various checks are opposed to every legislative proposition. Factions get possession of the public councils, bribery corrupts them, personal interests lead them astray from the general interests of their constituents; and other impediments arise, so as to prove to every practical man, that a law of limited duration is much more manageable than one which needs a repeal." --Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 1789. ME 7:459, Papers 15:396

Amazing how we love to quote the Founding Fathers and place them on a pedestal... until at such point we realize that they recommended things we disagree with. Then it's "hush that noise".
