If someone can dictate the sequencing of important government processes based on what happened when they were teenagers 36 years ago...why can't an actual teenager demand to be heard on a federal level now, when they are actual teenagers and the "offense" fresh in their minds?

Exactly. She's agreed to testify from the get-go, but she wants to dictate the terms. Nothing has changed. I'd tell her to show up Monday or we're having the vote.
I saw a line in an NBC story that alluded to the fact that the American people are starting to turn on Judge Kavanaugh because of this woman. I find that really hard to believe, as most rational people realize this in nothing more that a political stunt by the Democrats.
