As a college student living in the University District in 1998, he stood face to face with Bigot Christians who were rallying in support of a Seattle couple sending their child to conversion therapy. He has gotten in the face of pro Iraq War supporters, as well as stood up to birthers. Most recently, he attended a Donald Trump rally and told each rally attendee as they exited the arena that they were racist bigots, to their face. Naturally, the cowardly Trump supporters walked away instead of engaging.
