Seriously, could Ted Cruz file some kind of slander or defamation of character at AOC?

Ted Cruz agreed with her on going after Robinhood and this was her tweet in response:

“I am happy to work with Republicans on this issue where there’s common ground, but you almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago so you can sit this one out.
Happy to work w/ almost any other GOP that aren’t trying to get me killed.
In the meantime if you want to help, you can resign.”
Wtf, you can’t just accuse someone of murder without evidence.

Edit: Oh the irony, this is her tweet yesterday about misinformation. Sounds like she might know a thing or two on how to do that. I think it’s on the first page of the Democrat’s playbook.

I don't know if he can, but it would be nice to see some weight applied to these outlandish statements by the left. They sensationalize everything beyond reality, and then get their version sold as the truth by the media.

If we are to believe the Democrats that Trump must be held accountable for his actions in office, even though he is out of office. Then certainly she should be held accountable as well.

She's a Democrat. Democrats are allowed to falsely accuse others of rape, murder and hate crimes.

I'm not sure of the legal issues, but I'd say that it's hard to imagine you can say the above about anyone, let alone a sitting US Senator while you yourself is a sitting member of the House and have zero consequences.

Historically it is extremely difficult for a politician to lawsuit against another politician. Just look at the ads during campaigns.
Back in the day political slander was settled with a duel. I think Cruz would win that one.
