Don’t do stupid shite. There are young people who are in critical care for this crap. There’s no need for foolish bravado or making some political statement with your health. Plus, we’ll never have restrictions lifted if the spread of the virus isn’t slowed down. Regardless of what we do. We’re looking at months ahead of us because this thing has a sort of head start.

Is it safe to type here anymore or is that too close?
Most people are dealing with it the best the can
drive around and wake up, it's dead...which means most people are home behind a keyboard...

I was just thinking about some of the sillier posts I’ve seen downplaying the threat, It’s probably a mistake to take those seriously.

What is this "us" thing?
You're about to get fricked.

I was clearing brush on my property yesterday and came across two copperheads, may they rest in peace.

I'm not going to fire off on someone that asks me to be safe too hard but I have to say, after the stunt Pelosi and the democrats pulled last week and the posture of the mainstream media I find this particular sentence very, very ironic

I believe this to be an example of the empirically proven "overreaction hypothesis", written about by such luminaries as Shiller and Thaler, two (Nobel) giants in behaviorial economics. Also known as groupthink in the psychology realm in an area I'm not as familiar in terms of research. They are both similarly (empirically) measured so there is lots of overlap.
I speculate that after the reversion to the mean and overreaction subsides, we'll see numbers in line with flu like seasons, perhaps more serious but not significantly so.
Anecdotally if you follow the historical press pattern, sans maybe Spanish flu and the Black Plague, this is the result - in hindsight a health event and not a pandemic. As the denominator is more fully understood, the mortality rate will revert to a mean or a normal regression line and will fall within seen-before parameters.
I'm respectful of those who think this is really bad. I'm social distancing and I'm cognizant of those in grocery stores who take it pretty seriously. That is being a good person, neighbor, and American.
God bless.

The restrictions might not get "lifted," but believe me they will eventually most certainly come to an end.

Took you all this time to realize young people are dumb? We were all dumb at that age, but these young folks today are on another level.

Touche, my doctoral dissertation is on overreaction theory and its influence on emerging markets like digital assets and emerging blockchain companies.
