Who all here in this thread, with a show of hands, can honestly say that they have ZERO credit cards and ZERO credit card debt?
2 cards. zero cc debt. paid off every month.
We started using them when our debit card was cloned and charges run up at a gas station in Tennessee... never ever wanted ANYTHING directly linked to our bank account thereafter. We *have* to have DD for hubby's checks, but that's it.

Black women are like 7% of the population, they aren’t responsible for the shift

Both sides, this isn’t red vs blue, it’s much much bigger

If you fellas really wanna freak out… look into “Buy Now, Pay Later” companies such as Klarna, Affirm, AfterPay. Then, consider the massive amount of unsecured debt most folks have (making minimum payments), huge car notes for extended terms with negative equity, and using BNPL options to buy groceries.

If you are gonna be all high and mighty I'm just gonna go ahead and be a bit of a dick and say the truth is not using a credit card at all is stupid
Using a credit card to get the free points/benefits while also limiting exposure to fraud (much better to have a credit card hacked than a debit card) and paying it off at the end of the month is the right move and one I've managed to make for all 18 years or so I've had a credit card.
But sticking to the theme, handling a credit card like that requires one not to be stupid
