You are back embarrassing yourself

You lost 15 and gained 5. Wow.
It’s sad that Democrat run states have much worse employment numbers and death numbers from COVID. If you wouldn’t just blindly follow an ideology, you’d see that. However, it’s obviously a religion to you.

accounting is how you avoid taxes.
Depreciating real estate is not avoiding paying taxes. Just a basic understanding of tax code in the US should help you understand. I guess you don’t even have a baseline understanding of what’s going on around you.

I know because I do it. Effectively, it’s tax deferral. You reduce your basis and capture a larger gain when you sell.
The problem comes when you leverage hard, depreciate hard, and then have to sell when you still have debt.

I guess this kind of accounting is how you avoid taxes.
I guess this kind of math is how you avoid ... understanding the first thing about taxes, or quality employment which might generate them.
For the math challenged, that's a 10.1% loss.
Not 15%.
Since then we've gained nearly 7%. Not 5%.

You dont even know what schedule E is

I’m talking absolute numbers. I don’t play games with statistics.
You are minus 10.7 million jobs since February. You were minus 20 million at one point. You still haven’t “gained” in a meaningful sense.
If you lose 20 at craps then win 10, you are still in the hole.

It’s truly unbelievable how good the US would have done with unemployment and death if the blue states weren’t here to drag us down.
Posted on 10/4/20 at 8:56 am to NC_Tigah
You started at 158 million jobs. You hit a low of 133 million. That’s minus 25. Now you are at 147 million.
That’s still minus 11 million.
Sorry you are dumb.

What are your real estate assets?
Why do you support an administration that calls for the abolishment of 1031 exchanges?

You started at 158 million jobs.
We fell to 130 million, and in 5 months we're back to nearly 142 million.

I’m not rolling, so it doesn’t really matter to me.
And I doubt that would ever clear Congress.
