Rand is by far my favorite dude on the Hill but I do grow tired of his constant posturing then caving.
If he actually believes half of what he says, or if he was really serious about protecting the 4th amendment, he could do something. But he doesn’t.
Again, Rand is the best of the bunch. But he’s pretty hollow on action

Perfect illustration of the blowback that occurs when you have a reckless and hyper-interventionist foreign policy. Rand sounded like his father in that interview.

Rand Paul just shitted all over him. That was a crash course in International Relations 101. People like Tapper are incapable of viewing the matter outside of their subjective morality prism. You don't conduct foreign policy like domestic politics. They are completely different realms with different rules and realities.

Actually he does nothing.
He could drop crippling amendments into bills if he wanted to do something.

The Pauls have always talked too much factual, principled information for the general public to get on board. People will turn on their MSM and disregard what they say, because it isn't based off emotion.

Tapper did not understand a thing Rand was saying. Great comments by Rand!

i've been saying the same things on this board for weeks...we all do it...its a diversion from the real issues...nationally and inter party/swamp related

Tapper: the NATO expansion (in the 1990s) toward the Russian border was in response to the Russian provocations (in the 2000s.)
NATO: time-traveling responses to future Russian provocations.

I love that pube headed bastard.
He was spot on. I agree that Tapper had no idea what he was talking about. He looked like a cow listening to a physics lecture.

I agree with two posts...

I love Sundance’s description of this interview:
quote:
Senator Rand Paul appears on CNN to discuss the upcoming summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
A professionally obtuse Tapper demands war against Russia because former Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta fell for a phishing scam and gave away his email password. Tapper also holds motive to demand war because when Seth Rich gave Wikileaks the DNC emails, Tapper’s pro-Clinton media constructs, including giving advanced knowledge of debate questions, surfaced and revealed his strzokic level bias.
