If he wanted a luxury sedan with bad gas mileage he could have gotten an Audi RS7. Audi/VW are notoriously bad on gas mileage. Guessing he went for the truck because I think centrist liberals are trying to pivot towards Suburban Steve and his truck (or body-on-frame SUV) that only goes off hard top to park next to the practice field for Aiden's sportsball.
