You ain't gonna GET A HOLD on any infectious virus. This or the different strains of flu. What you do is develop a vaccine and deal with it while the over 99% of people under 60 acquire immunity. Even with a vaccine most people will have it at some point here in the USA. And BTW there is a very definite viral season here in the USA and always has been, unlike some other parts of the world. Oh and some of the old people who were dying already are going to die of pneumonia.
The answers are simple: (A) Don't commit mass suicide by destroying the economy, get back to work and moving the country. (B) You're likely gonna "get it" @ some point and develop an immunity which will slow it down to a seasonal crawl. And like the flu, learn to live with it. (C) Take the shot and skip having it altogether or delay getting it for a long period of time. Again healthy working age people are not dying of this viral infection. Not even one tenth of one percent. They are in more danger of getting killed in a car wreck. But they don't stop driving.

Louisiana isn’t okay. Our demographics create the perfect storm with Covid-19. Governor better not open up anything until we get a hold on this. This has also spread into nursing homes.
There are a LOT of options somewhere in between "free for all" and "don't leave you bedroom"
That seems to be lost on you.
1. At risk and elderly...stay home
2. Better cleaning
3. Semi social distancing in stores and resturants
Etc
Open your brain for a second and don't panic

We can’t even protect our hospital workers.
What do you mean "can't even"? Medical specialist are BY FAR the most at risk individuals in the country. Sure they would be hit the hardest

It's actually pretty damn good. You have probably had it in a mixed green salad.

JBE is going to try to drag this thing well into June...maybe July.
