Yes and Fleming is my guy. Fleming is a true conservative. He has done so much with his personal life and has helped POTUS Trump since Trump came down the golden escalator.

I like Fleming, but if he’s going to win, he needs to be a one termer. Sick and tired of all these 80+ year old geriatric dullards in DC.

Letlow will never be a shining star in the Senate but she'll be a reliable conservative vote for the next 25 years. I'll take that and call it a win.

Always possible...DC is a disease. I worked in city for 7 years...

The first question anyone ever asks, is..." where do you work".

I'd be at a house party, during football season, tons of food / beer, babes...

And I'd get asked that every single fricking time.

After year 2, I started saying crazy places...to watch their faces cringe...

Miguez already vacuumed up the financial supporters from Lake Chuck to Nola below I-10

Would she have to give up her congressional seat to run?

I believe so, because her Congressional seat is up for re-election every even numbered year.

I’d likely vote for him or Letlow in the primary.

Thing is, I believe the only reason Letlow, and if not her, Julie Emerson, would get into this race would be to placate to Gov Landry. Neither one of them should get in at this point, but one of them will because Landry has had his falling out with Fleming and Miguez, so he needs a candidate.

Good point about her running to take away North Louisiana votes from Fleming. Miguez campaign haul in less than a month after announcing was huge by national standards. Bayou Lafourche bunch might be sitting this out. They bought Landry in 2010, which failed to produce results they wanted. Then backstabbed them by gobbling up trial lawyer money that backed JBE

I really think Miguez has a shot to get in the runoff

I personally know Louisiana citizen Trump paid campaign team members who are backing Miguez, not Fleming.

We will be able to see campaign finance update in about a month and who has the warchest. If we look in major contributors per campaign we will see who has the instate backing.

What we don't know yet is which candidates are being invited to churches in North Louisiana to give their "Christian Testimony" We all know that Col Madness (ret-arded) followed Cassidy around so he could play like he was invited by having his photo taken outside or in a lobby for his social media followers to YEEHAW. We also know that Phil Robertson is no longer around to make an endorsement, which carried weight up there.

With small farmers looking to go bankrupt due tariffs over the next year, Trump's support may be a negative in rural Louisiana. Landry's support won't work for the oil patch production and service companies owners thanks to his collusion with trial lawyers and frivolous lawsuits daily against them

Rumor is Landry told Letlow to NOT apply for LSU job and NOT run for senate. Thus you see the push for Julie Emerson.
