You're right

A smart electorate would have known the night of the midterms that Trump would never win a general election again. I didn't realize how a segment of GOP voters had not only lost their mind, but have surrendered to the left

How wouldn't he?

Trump has just about turned Arizona blue

Trump vs Obama on spending? How much has your GOPe spent in 30 years?

Trump asked for more money than fricking Pelosi. He said the proposal from Congress didn't spend enough.

Preach bro! That’s a great idea…well thought out, just great. So you’re voting Biden 2024 whether it is active or passive. Yeah that’ll show those damn Cult45s!

SMDH!

"Passive."

Moneyg will be proud when he sees your take on it.

Ah yes. The self-licking ice cream cone that Team Only Trump likes to tout.

“We will take our 35% of the GOP base and go home if you don’t nominate Trump so that means everyone else isn’t viable. Only Trump can be nominated”

I really wanted DeSantis to take off.

He chose a very difficult road…to try to be Trump while not being Trump while Trump was still around.

He needed a great campaign team. And they sucked. I commented that they weren’t impressive months and months ago and the DeSantis superfans weren’t taking any criticisms. They were in denial.

I like DeSantis. I hope there are more chapters to come.

All of this. Ronbots are all morons who wouldnt listen

Worst run campaign ever

Well duh. The legislation was going to pass. Donald Trump has to be on the winning side.

Trump probably can’t even describe Thomas Massie’s political principles. He doesn’t possess political principles himself. He only wants to “win” and he’ll compromise with the deep state and the democrats to do it

They claimed Desantis would make up a lot of ground in the polls after the debate . I think after seeing Trumps interview destroy them debates ratings and the polls not changed they are calming down . Desantis running for 2024 was a huge mistake that may cost him his political career.

Listen to what? Do you think a primary is supposed to result in 100% of voters supporting a single candidate?

I think DeSantis is a genuine conservative and I'm not bothered by his public-facing awkwardness. I'm impressed with this track record as governor. That matters more to me than awesome political rallies.

I think Trump failed miserably in 2020. I think it's a mistake to pretend that doesn't count.

So I support DeSantis in the primary. That's not denial. That's a preference.

What's interesting is the "sudden" push of specific polls with trash methodology.

When Trump saw that Desantis was going to win re-election in a landslide he started slagging Ron 3 days before election day.

And has said democrats Christ and Abrams would be better governors for their states than the GOP governors that don't kiss Trump's gelatinous arse.

Trump doesn't give a frick about anyone or anything other than himself.

The only critical votes that matter are GA, AZ and WI votes for the general election. Most of the people posting on this board either for or against Trump are from Florida, Louisiana, Texas the southeast et al (except for precarious GA) where Trump will win.

This, unfortunately. Also it's football season and I really don't care about politics right now.
