Did you give them the opportunity to just stop wearing the tabs and badges on the spot? or today keep wearing them day after day until formally charged?

...that’s not actually a DD214.
Looked very similar to this;

First one was handled by my company commander (UCMJ authority) after I brought the discrepancies to his attention.
Second one I directed the individual to remove them unless they provided documentation within a certain time. I was a brigade commander at the time (again, UCMJ authority). They removed them on the spot and told me they would get documentation (the lawyer story). They never put them back on. I conducted an AR 15-6 investigation (think grand jury) and then presented my evidence to the CG of my command.

I am guessing a service like this is what Shipley is using.

So let me get this straight-you don't believe that Shipley has valid information?
I have questions about how this info would be obtained through FOIA. I think we could all agree it would be virtually impossible to process a FOIA request since this first made news a few days ago all factors considered. Which is why I wondered whether someone would have a batch a military files for random protestors. I don’t know if that’s likely. Another option would be for someone with access to pull the info from a computer system. But then it still has markings like it was processed through FOIA. Then there’s a possibility that it’s just fake.

You are more inclined to believe Nathan Phillips and his story over someone who outs people like this for a living?
I have no idea what his story is. I haven’t been watching news or reading any articles about it. Frankly it seems the underlying story that’s getting focused on is for the sheep. On both sides.

Shipley does not focus on political cases. This is the first one I have seen him do (must have just gotten a case of the arse, it happens). He goes after people claiming to be a Navy SEAL. Someone else may have had this (it is a possibility) and passed it along to him. There was no PII and Shipley does this all the time. Doubt he is concerned about possible litigation.
