I remember when USA would send people to 3rd world countries to "watch over elections" to make sure everything was legal. We can't even protect our own elections, or better yet I'm not 100% sure we want to protect our own elections. This is crazy times

The questioning of elections to the degree we're seeing now from both sides does not bode well for the future of the republic. It's a hallmark of 3rd world shitholes and I see no signs of it getting better from here on out.

Jimmy Carter came back to brag about the fair and honest elections that were being held in VENEZUELA!! He loved their integrity and made sure it occurred here.

I'm going to miss President Trump when his 2nd term is over. God knew exactly what America needed to fight back against our corrupt Political Establishment which has been entrenched for decades. Namely, a brash billionaire from New York City who has been one of the greatest "counter-punchers" in the history of American politics and has withstood all of the attempts to destroy both himself and his family.
I mean, who else could've withstood the onslaught? Everything from Trump/Russia collusion to 22 months of the Weissmann/Mueller witch-hunt to 2 phony impeachment trials to a bizarre 2020 election to an FBI Raid on his home to multiple indictments to, finally, at least 4 assassination attempts?
I'm not sure that anybody other than Donald John Trump could've held up against the unprecedented onslaught he has had to endure. And, I think God knew he was the guy who could hold up against it and still keep going.
I pray that God has another strong warrior ready to take his place in 2029.

I think doing so would help allay the right's fears, but would intensify the left's.
Undermined elections and partisan courts / justice system are the death knell of a constitutional republic.

I respectfully disagree. A base standard of needing a voter ID would quell alot of the discussion and ammunition of the right. Arguments for more would only come from the extremes of the party.
The lefts opposition to voter ID is an extream position in that its fairly standard among 1st world countries.

I respectfully disagree. Voter ID is 100% necessary, but only a bare minimum security measure. We use hackable software which is a much larger issue in my opinion.
