Prepare thy anus, 'cause you can get fired.

Inc.

quote:

If your employees are using the "OK, Boomer" line on your older employees--including Gen X-ers and Silent Generations (what Shatner is), it can create a "hostile work environment."

if you have an employee, of any age, dropping the "OK, Boomer" line against any employee who is over the age of 40, you have to take it seriously. You can't dismiss it as a harmless banter. Just the same way you wouldn't dismiss it if someone said, "OK, Mexican." It doesn't matter whether the employee is a Mexican or not, or whether the target of "OK Boomer" is a Baby Boomer or not. One time is a joke, but it can lead to patterns that create a hostile work environment, putting the company on the receiving end of a lawsuit.

So, you counsel that employee, and if it doesn't stop, you terminate the employee. You'd do the same for someone who continued to mock someone because of their race.

Only the ones that can't spell.

Heck, I don't even know what I am. Born in 66. That makes me technically Gen X, I guess?

Why's that?

I just happen to think "Ok Boomer" is stupid.

Good. We need to get millennials out of professional workplaces.

fricking LOL. I better never hear one of these tards refer to millennials as snowflakes ever again.

Firing someone for dismissing your stupid statement with "OK Boomer" is the most Boomer move I've ever heard.

EDIT: This is your occasional reminder that literally all of the soft, politically correct bullshite that is pinned on millennials was created by left-wing Baby Boomers who infected classrooms across the country in the 1990s

Easy to knock on millennials ... (I’m 29 and don’t frigging “self identify“ as belonging to any generation).

But maybe shite like this wouldn’t happen if a bunch of crazy soccer moms (gen x?) didn’t flip their lid everytime we threw a mud ball at the bitch kid at recess?

The guy filing this complaint shouldn’t have made it through kindergarten without thicker skin than that and I don’t think he’s too blame.

That will upset my great uncle. According to him if you aren’t white or black you’re a Mexican.

Right, or demanded that they make participation trophies for kids who never asked for them or wanted them or liked them so they could brag to their dumbfrick friends at Ladies’ Night

Uh... the youngest Boomers in 1990 were 26 years old, so... you would be wrong. The 90's were full of left wing Gen X-ers in school.
