For frick’s sakes, and you call me disingenuous and act like I won’t be open.
I’ll stop calling for gun laws when we no longer have any more mass murder in this country as defined by the FBI (no more incidents in one place where four or more people are killed).
If you can’t get there with me, and you can’t go along with screening out those proven to mentally unstable, then this was never a me issue.

Um prior to guns a lot of good innocent people were not able to defend themselves as efficiently as they were after guns were invented? This reminds me, earlier this week someone leaked a report from the CDC showing the actual numbers of those who used a gun to defend themselves from an attack. The results actually backed up the Gary Kleck's surveys that liberals have been dismissing for years. That's right, it wasn't the NRA, it wasn't some right- wing lobby or publication, it was the CDC who of course tried to hide the findings for years.

So okay. To clarify. If you got definitive legislation that you were satisfied with regarding mental health and gun ownership and after getting that legislation more shootings occurred you are telling me that you can guarantee me you wouldn't then ask for more legislation? And I'm not referring to your earlier request for every swinging dick to go get a mental health evaluation if they want to buy a gun. I am referring to your desire to flag anyone with significant mental health issues and ban them from guns
